Vicki Kovaleski holds a degree in Fine Art with a minor in illustration and graphic design. She is a member of the Mid-Southern Watercolor Society and the National Portrait Society. Kovaleski has studied with numerous internationally acclaimed artists including Jean Dobie and Charles Reid.
The artists' Sisterhood series, focusing on the women and their struggles and triumphs with breast cancer, has been acknowledged by many organizations, along with the State of Maine. Kovaleski has designed covers for the state's At Home magazine along with five different covers for their Christmas catalog. Within the state of Arkansas, the artist was commissioned to paint the portrait of Barbara Nabholz for the Women Center in Conway. Kovaleski was also selected to paint a piece in tribute to Mount St. Mary's 150 years of offering quality education.
The Sisterhood series is a trademark of the artist featuring a card line and journal commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
